FAQs

WHAT KIND OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER?

We have a timetable full of pilates and yoga style classes! Classes vary in intensity and are suitable for every ability, but if you’re a complete beginner, our classic pilates class is a great place to start! You can view our class schedule HERE.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAT PILATES & REFORMER?

Both Classes are going to give you similar benefits of improved strength, stability, flexibility and toned muscles.

Mat Pilates uses the body weight for resistance and is the most accessible of the Pilates repertoire.

Reformer Pilates will assist and support you using the spring of the machine for resistance.

Our amazing instructors are here to help guide you and assist with adjustments. Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, we have classes suited to every level of ability!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO A CLASS?

Our classes are designed to be as gentle or intense as you’d like to make them. So, depending on if you want to dial your workout up or down – the most important thing is hydration!

Make sure you bring plenty of water and a sweat towel. You will not be wearing shoes whilst you workout so we do recommend wearing socks with grip (we do have these available at reception). We also recommend to bring your own mat to any mat classes, but we do have some available if this isn’t possible.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A CLASS?

It is not a problem if you need to cancel, we just require 5 hours notice before the class and it will be credited back to you.

If you cancel after this time unfortunately you will not be credited back that class.

DO I NEED TO BOOK MY CLASS IN ADVANCE?

Yes! To avoid missing out on your favourite class, please book ahead of time online via One Fit Stop or contact the reception team and we can do this for you.

If the class is full, you will automatically be put onto our waiting list and we will notify you if a space becomes available.

CAN I DO PILATES IF I AM PREGNANT?

Yes, you certainly can and we would love to have you join us!

We have custom made pregnancy wedges to enable safe Reformer Pilates to be performed in line with the Australian Government Health Department guidelines. We also offer a specialised Pregnancy Reformer class with a smaller class size, but you are welcome to try other classes while using the pregnancy wedge and we will guide you through whatever class you decide to take.

If you are unsure, please chat to our instructors and we’d be happy to recommend the best class for you.
